Terms & Conditions
At Father Catering, we pay attention to every detail. We treat your event like our own family event. Our team will finalize the menu a week before your event to ensure smooth preparations. Additionally, two to three days before the event, our team will personally inspect the venue to ensure the address and date meet all your expectations.
Booking and Payment Terms
- Advance Payment : Upon final confirmation of the menu, an advance payment of 50% of the total bill is mandatory as a confirmation of booking. This advance amount secures your event date.
- Balance Payment : The balance amount of the total bill must be paid at least seven days before the scheduled date of the event.
- After the conclusion of the event, if any additional dishes or services are applicable, they must be paid within 2 days of the event completion.
- GST : Applicable GST (currently 5%) will be extra on all bills.
Changes and Cancellation Policy
- Final Menu Confirmation: Final menu confirmation will be done fifteen days prior to the event; major changes to the menu will not be accepted after this period.
- Guest Count Changes : Final guest count (guaranteed guests) must be announced at least 15 days prior to the event.
- If the actual number of guests is more than the guaranteed number, additional guests will be charged.
- If the number of guests is less than the guaranteed number, billing will still be based on the guaranteed number.
- Event Cancellation : In case of event cancellation due to any reason, the advance payment will not be refunded.
Client Responsibilities
- On-site Facilities : The Client will be responsible for managing the catering counter, disposal of garbage/food waste, and arranging for facilities required for the event such as adequate power points (including three-phase points for the kitchen), water supply and necessary kitchen permits from the local administration.
- Venue Preparation : The venue will be handed over to the catering team at least 24 hours prior to the event for food counters and other preparations (if required).
- Service Duration : If the service continues beyond the stipulated time frame (e.g. 2:30 pm for lunch or 12:00 pm for dinner), additional service charges may be levied.
Additional Charges and Venue Rules
- Venue Charges : The Client will be responsible for the PRO fee, display counter fee, venue monopoly fee (if applicable), and any other venue-related charges.
- Special Decor/Crockery : Any special decor or crockery not included in the menu will be charged extra.
- Any mandap or pandal related work (such as decoration, lighting, or setup) will be the sole responsibility of the Client. Our catering team will not be involved.
- Any waste or debris not related to catering (such as fireworks, decorations, flowers, etc.) will be the Client’s responsibility to dispose of. Caterers will not be responsible for this.
Our Commitment and Expectations
- Professional Conduct: We will be supportive of you and our team will be supportive of you. However, as per the rules of business, we will demand correct and fair action and we will not compromise in any way.
